mango karlie kloss

I’m always on the hunt for great looking pieces that don’t cost an arm and a leg, and with my recent Zara hiatus (you can read more about that here) I’ve needed to broaden my fast fashion horizons – enter MANGO.

MANGO originates from Spain (just like Zara) and even though you might not have heard of them, they have 2700 some stores in over 100 countries! The MANGO concept is to dress the modern, urban woman for her daily needs and IMHO they are doing it spectacularly! I think the quality is above that of H&M and Forever 21 and the designs a bit more sophisticated as well. Great things for work and play – all of my daily needs – way to go… MANGO!!! (see what I did there??)

Two other things to know about my new BFF MANGO, 1. Karlie Kloss is the face of their metallics collection – check it out here. And, 2. They have great clothes for sizes 10-18 too, under the VIOLETA brand – and kids and men’s stuff too! See now why I’m so MANGO happy?!?

Here are the pieces that made it into my shopping cart (and a few from my wishlist too) – REMEMBER, THE PINK LINKS WILL TAKE YOU RIGHT TO THE ITEM, NO SEARCHING NECESSARY!

I’m over the moon with this cotton, tweed, chanel-esque jacket – perfection!

OMG – how adorbs is this kids trench for the mini me in your life???

And this necklace – I can’t even! It’s soooo perfect for summer, it may become my signature (’cause I’m gonna wear it over and over and over again) piece because it goes with EVERYTHING – It’ll dress up jeans or shorts and dress down a dress – MAJOR SCORE!

Look at the tie at the waist, impeccable detail! I’d size up for some slouch and wear it over a loose tank or with high waist culottes!

These slides are THE shoe shape for the season AND the great sunny yellow is a fun way to give your outfit a pop of color – but the great part is, they’re still kind of neutral enough to go with almost any outfit – they’re like a cooler nude sandal!

My silk scarf collection from the 90’s has been getting a lot of action this year – if you gave yours away OR have not already live thru this trend, pick up this pretty little thing – it looks MUCH more expensive than it is!

What a BAG!! The animal print + black chain + cross body = a winner!

This LWD (little white dress) has such a Lanvin vibe, but thankfully without the price-tag.

You need to look up close to see the fab detail of the guipure lace on this blazer, and the ice green color is gorg!!! I’m going to wear it with ripped slouchy jeans and pointy toe pumps for a spring night out.

This is like a fashion version of a certs (remember the commercial… it’s two, two, two mints in one!!) And this t-shirt is your fav striped t and fav graphic t ALL IN ONE! Not only that, but the message is totally on point. LOVE!

I have a “thing” for hinged bracelets – most of mine are from flea markets or vintage shops – but this one will stack so nicely with those oldies but goodies and give em new life!

Overwhelmed and confused by the whole bandanna/neck scarf thing? Here’s your answer! A two pack – one pre-tied and one for you to fold – brilliant!

This might be the only dress I’ll need all summer – the swingy style will let me eat all I want and the bling is subtle enough to wear day or night.

And, another good crossbody to try – good color and fun stud accent.

So that is a LOOONG list of goodies, huh?! Let me know what you think…  Too many options? Or do you like all the ideas? Have you ever shopped Mango? If so, what do you think?

Happy MANGO-ING peeps!

  1. OMG this is awesome advice! I have been a Zara fan forever, its one of my absolutes favs! I have a black timeless silk skirt from Zara that I have had for 7 or 8 years and I still get compliments on it whenever I wear it. I had never heard of MANGO thanks a million for the hot tip!
