It is official. The bomber trend is NOT slowing down.

This bomber style started making an appearance on the fashion scene a few seasons back – and this year, I’d classify it as a wardrobe staple. It’s one of those easy pieces to add that really freshen things up. It makes a statement, but still can be paired back to many things you already have in your closet.

I’m a big fan of the embroidered version (sometimes known as souvenir jacket). They come in all different prices and colors, and many are even reversible offering a two jackets for the price of one justification, (I dunno, sometimes that kind of logic really works for me).

The bomber Olivia Palermo is wearing is that great reversible kind. Right now it is back-ordered, but you can be put on a wait list here

Here are some others that I really like…And at various prices — click the link or photo to go straight to the retailer website for details.

  1. A classic floral satin bomber

2. butterflies and bombers – a perfect combo

3. I’m digging the neutral colors of this bomber

4. This bomber is for my CLE peeps – it’s part of the limited edition, capsule collection,  Brigade X The Wardrobe Consultant (wow, I am so excited about this collection, I could wax poetic all night long!)

How cute it is, right?

It’s part of a 14 piece collection we’ve been working on with Brigade. Together, we’ve curated an awesome, can’t miss, capsule collection of clothing.
Everything is under $200 (many items under $100).
This collection fills the void we (at The Wardrobe Consultant) see time and again, what’s missing from so many women’s closets — Pieces that have just enough umph to liven up a wardrobe, but not too much to be uber trendy and go out of style tomorrow. We like to call them Wardrobe Staples – THESE ARE THE BUILDING BLOCKS TO A FUNCTIONAL AND FASHIONABLE WARDROBE – THE PIECES THAT ENHANCE YOUR BASICS BY ADDING INTEREST.
Come see the whole collection (and Brigade’s other fantastic items) this Thursday, October 20, 6-9 pm at Brigade Clothing (lower level, Beachwood Mall) – come say hi and check it out in person!

Happy Bombering you guys! And if you’re in the Cleveland area, seriously, come say hi on Thursday, it should be a fun evening and I’ll be doing some styling in the spot too!
