Girl Crush - Diana Vitantonio, Self Esteem Coach for Women
Diana Vitantonio - Girl Crush
I've had the pleasure of knowing Diana for the past 20 years. As both a yoga instructor and socially through mutual friends. And while I could absolutely wax poetic about Di for paragraphs... she really does a better job sharing her passions and calling than I ever could. So read on to learn all about my girl crush, self esteem coach Diana Vitantonio.
My name is Diana Vitantonio and I am a Self Esteem coach for women. Nothing lights my heart up more than witnessing another woman empower, heal and forgive herself. She can begin to value herself in every decision she makes. This is a BIG DEAL. It seems easy, but this is the deep and hard work of diving into your interior. All the parts of yourself that you don’t know that well yet. Above all, It is how you truly love yourself.
Diana's Work as a Self Esteem Coach
One of the first things I do with people when I work with them is give them a list of words. Then I ask them to write down the definition. I've been doing this with people for over 10 years and what I learned is this... No one has the same definition for any word. No one. I learned that it wasn't important that we all agreed on a definition. What was important is that we agreed on different ones. It’s about valuing our experience and everyone else’s at the same time. No one sees the world like you do. No one. This is huge in understanding ourselves and each other. Certainly, it is paramount in healthy boundaries.
For most of my life, I have been able to act confident but I haven’t always had self-esteem. To me, confidence is what it looks like on the outside. Self-esteem is what it is on the inside. Plus, it's found in our patterns, not a single moment. It’s what we believe about ourselves and what we do over and over again. Self Love for most people takes unlearning and relearning. So, I teach people how to listen to their intuition. How to manage their thoughts. Also, how to emotionally process, re-learning communication skills. Plus, how to find clarity on their wants and needs. And most importantly, how to be successful in communicating and respecting boundaries.
About Diana
Some things about me... I have taught yoga for the last 21 years and the passion continues to grow because of the person the relationship has made me become. I love to move to music either in dance or fitness. It helps me process my emotions and teaches me to stay in my body through the fluctuations of my mind. I have never met a burpee I didn’t like. My style includes big hoop earrings, animal print, and a splash of neon on the regular. I love storytelling, deep connections, and stirring the pot.
Additionally, I live in Sacramento, California but I did grow up in Cleveland. I love oat milk lattes as a special treat and it’s not uncommon for me to buy myself roses and get them delivered to my house. I’m 43, single, have never spent more than short amounts of time with children. I haven’t been in a serious committed romantic relationship in 15 years. I write poetry, have a dog named Fee, and will always say yes for a cold plunge.
