My Girl Crush, Kiya Tomlin
I originally discovered Kiya Tomlin because she’s represented by Hello LLC, a PR firm out of Chagrin Falls run by my friend Michelle Venorsky. Since then I’ve followed her on Instagram and am a big fan. Her designs and the overall brand concept are just WOW!!
Custom designer, Kiya Tomlin, launched her collection of re-imagined sweatsuits in the Fall of 2014. Inspired by the energy and aspirations of today’s modern woman, the namesake line was designed for women, like herself, with a purpose and passion for life. Uniting cover girl glamor with the comfort and ease of a favorite sweatshirt, her designs embody femininity, versatility, and the constant pursuit of the place where style, function, and luxurious comfort intersect.
Kiya Tomlin is the ultimate female entrepreneur and I’m so excited to share some of her favorite things with all of you!
Kiya Tomlin’s Favorite Things
1. Jo Malone’s Peony Blush Diffuser
This is a product that I keep in each one of my bathrooms. I love the Jo Malone Peony Blush Diffuser! It gives my home a signature scent! It is a really light and feminine scent. Exactly what I would imagine a featured bathroom in a home magazine would smell like!!
2. Hoka One One Bondi 7 for Women
This Hoka shoe was voted the best shoe for toe arthritis, which I have! The rocker-bottom sole helps take pressure off the big toe. Also helps take pressure off the shoe’s toe box.
3. The Breakers, Palm Beach Resort
We have been going to The Breakers since our kids were little! They know this resort like their own home. Makes for a relaxing time when everyone knows how to entertain themselves on vacation! And their signature “Sea Glass” scent is fresh and luxurious!
4. Black Girl Sunscreen
I prefer a cream sunscreen over an aerosol. But they always leave me looking pasty. What is not to love about a sunscreen that not only coats, but doesn’t leave you with that white pasty film!
I am 5′ tall so I love a shoe that gives me height. These boots have a wide base and a sturdy heel which makes them easy to walk in. When I wear them with long pants that graze the floor, it looks like I have long and lean legs for days! High heels are the best diet!
Kiya Tomlin’s Clothing Collection
I’m impressed with Kiya’s entire clothing collection and love that all of the pieces are made right in Pittsburgh, PA. The That’s a Wrap top particularly caught my eye. It’s both sexy and modest – and doesn’t look like everything else I see out there. Kiya’s clothes are made from bamboo, cotton, and spandex, so they’re comfortable to wear. Check out the entire collection HERE.
