Knuth’s Boutique – A Cleveland Legend

STOP right there – you’ve got to hear this! My Cleveland people are likely clapping their hands and jumping with joy right now. Because Knuth’s boutique is a Cleveland legend. And all of my non-Cleveland readers are like, yawn, this doesn’t have to do with me… BUT WAIT! One of the positive things that came out of Covid and lockdown was that this iconic Cleveland boutique now has ON-LINE shopping!! Yup, so you too can purchase the adorable items I’m posting, even if geographically, you’re not a CLE girl!

I remember going to Knuth’s as a kid, and willing my feet to grow so I could finally fit into all of their glorious shoes. And as my feet grew, so did the selection at the store. Now Knuth’s boutique is a destination where someone can literally get dressed head to toe. Jeans, sweaters, tops, lounge, dresses, shoes, bags, accessories, hats – it is a true ONE STOP SHOP.

A Little Knuth’s History – In Their Own Words

Knuth’s is and has been family-owned since 1960 when Sherri’s parents opened in Pepper Pike as a family shoe store. Sherri and John Bryan have led Knuth’s into the full-service “go to” women’s boutique on Cleveland’s East and West sides.

Knuth’s is unique in its broad mix of brands and price points. We offer contemporary style for all ages, often seeing three generations of Cleveland families shopping together.

Our awesome team is all about personal service, with a mission to help our customers look their very best. The atmosphere at Knuth’s is welcoming and fun. Our customer’s shop often since we receive new goods daily.

We strive to (and do) find great people to serve our great customers. As our corporate motto says, “The customer is our top priority.”

Shop With Me, At Knuth’s

I did a try-on session last week (you can check out the behind-the-scenes stuff on my Instagram Story). It was like playing dress-up in a closet with unlimited possibilities.

I focused on outfits that could go from summer to fall and that worked for the different parts of my (and most of your) lives. Casual everyday jeans, lounge and dressy. Knuth’s had it all. See all of the fun outfits I came up with below AND use the links to shop their website directly.

Knuth’s Can Special Order Too!

One of the great things about shopping small is that you won’t see yourself coming and going. The downside can be that items sell out quickly. Lucky for us, Knuth’s has stellar relationships with their vendors, and often (not always, consider this my disclaimer) if you don’t see your size, an item can be special ordered. So if you do not see what you need, ASK, it can likely be ordered for you.

The Outfits

An Everyday Look

Vests are HUGE for fall! I love this one because you can wear it on its own or with a blouse underneath. How great would it look with slim slacks for the office too?

A Lounge Look

Loungewear is still huge in 2021. And this look is so great because it’s loungy but put together enough to go out of the house. The hoodie detail under the jacket comes out so it’s really like two looks in one. And the joggers are a sweater material which makes them a smidge dressier than a typical sweat. The sneakers get bonus points because they are SLIP-ON!!

A Date Night or GNO Look

Evening looks can be tricky because you don’t want to wear what you do on a typical Tuesday. But you also don’t want to be too dressed up that it feels uncomfortable or out of place. I typically like to dress up jeans with a shoe and fun bag to walk that fine line of going out casual.

A Finished Everyday Look (with winter boots)

Feeling put together while fighting the elements can be a challenge. These boots keep your tootsies dry and look a bit sleeker than your typical winter boot. I am obsessed with this “inspired” sweater – you can wear it now with sandals and then as the weather turns cold with boots.

What to Wear to a Browns Game

The whole denim on denim thing (also called a Canadian Tux) can be hard to pull off. I love the various colors of chambray in this shirt – it makes it easier to achieve the tux look because there are many colors to pick from. I also love how this bag adds just a touch of orange to support the home team without being over the top BROWN AND ORANGE head to toe!

Let’s Get Dressed Up

Someone posted in my private FaceBook group (All Dressed Up with SOMEWHERE to Go) asking where to shop for some upcoming events (as a wedding and bar-mitzvah guest). This jumpsuit could be perfect. It’s oh so comfortable and the waist detail makes it special. And pairing it with this slightly cropped leather (faux) blazer is a perfect transition for fall.
