Roasted Tomatillo Salsa
Ingredients
5 Tomatillos
1/4 Onion
2 Garlic Cloves
1 Jalapeño or Serrano Chile Pepper
1/4 Cup Chopped Cilantro
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
Place tomatillos, onion, garlic, and chile pepper into a hot skillet or on top of the grill if possible.
Move frequently with tongs, until the vegetables have charred skin and the garlic skin comes off easily, for about 10-15 minutes.
Allow ingredients to cool before adding to molcajete or blender.
After mashing or blending, adding fresh cilantro and salt and pepper to taste.
