Quiet Luxury Brand Spotlight: ME+EM
ME+EM is one of those brands I’ve had on my radar for a while and I am so thrilled to finally be partnering with them!
This blog post is sponsored by ME+EM, but rest assured that my opinions are 100% my own. My commitment to you, my readers, is that I only collaborate with and highlight brands that I truly love and would recommend to my closest friends, family, and 1:1 styling clients. ME+EM is no exception—I personally wear and adore their clothing, finding them to be a perfect blend of timeless style and modern flair. Trust me, this is a brand worth having on your radar!
With ME+EM, it’s an easy promise to keep. I am honestly blown away. When I was deciding what to order, it was hard to narrow it down - kind of like wanting to order the whole left side of the menu at a great restaurant!!
And even better is that when the items were delivered and I tried them on, THEY WERE SPECTACULAR! Timeless, yet modern, well made, easy to mix and match, and the fit was spot on (not always an easy task when converting UK sizes).
So, let me tell you a bit about the brand - and then I’ll show you what I got (along with the items that caught my eye but I didn’t get, yet, lol!).
About Me+Em:
This British brand is known for its intelligent style. Meaning, Me+Em ensures each piece is functional, flattering and has wear forever style. This philosophy allows the clothes to feel modern yet timeless - and also for them to work within most style aesthetics.
Me+Em is also a DTC (direct to consumer) brand. And by selling straight to the end user (you and me) they cut out the markup that occurs when brands sell through other retailers. Cutting out the intermediary allows them to keep the quality high and the prices accessible.
I’ve also personally noted that Me+ Em is one of those hidden gems the style set wears on the reg. Editors and stylists know what looks lux doesn’t need to cost an arm and a leg - and this brand is their not so secret, secret weapon.
ME+EM Clothes Try On
I’ve got to give this brand a 10/10 - and I do not do this easily… Straight out of the box it all fits! Yes the pants need to be shortened (I’m only 5’4”) but other than that, we are talking pure perfection.
I picked 6 pieces and I’d qualify them as quiet luxury, elevated basics with a touch of interest. It's that touch of interest part that IMHO really sets this brand apart.
And they mix and match to make so many outfits!!
How I Styled the Outfits
Outfit 1
Flannel pants + blazer + blouse
These pants are crazy flattering. Sometimes pleats can be my enemy - hips and pleats don’t always play nicely together - but this inverted design is so slimming. Yes, I know they need to be hemmed.
Pro Tip: hem wide, full length pants ¼-½ inch from the floor with the shoes you plan to wear with them. It’ll give you the most leg lengthening look.

Outfit 2
CURVED Hem Sweater + a-line skirt
This sweater is a total two-fer. The turtleneck is removable! In the UK it’s called a snood. So this can be worn as a crew neck or a turtleneck - genius!

Outfit 3
Flannel pants + Cashmere Vest
This berry colored sweater is also that snood design - I think I’m in love with a snood! The angle of the arms on this vest hit at a very attractive spot too - it’s an added bonus.

Outfit 4
full suit + silk blouse
This is a full suit look. And the great thing about a suit is that the pieces can be broken apart as well. I’d wear this jacket with jeans or over a dress too. The slight puffed sleeve gives just a touch of interest and femininity.

Outfit 5
a-line skirt + silk blouse
I love how the blouse looks with the skirt! The skirt has a slight a-line fit (and pockets!!) so it really helps create visual balance (aka an hourglass look).

Outfit 6
a-line skirt + silk blouse + Cashmere Vest
Seriously, all of these items work together! I love that! Putting the blouse under the vest totally changes things up.
Pro tip: Because this outfit has a lot of details, I tucked the ruffled sleeve under to subtract one element and make the look less busy.

Outfit 7
flannel pants + silk blouse + Cashmere Vest
Same idea, different bottom. The look is a bit more streamlined with the pants because you do not see the shoes.
Pro Tip: If there is too much bulk in the waist when tucking in - try the 4 point tuck.

The ME+EM Pieces I have my Eye On:
Of course I wanted to get many more pieces than I did. Here are a few that are on my wish list.
