It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a girl crush around here. Because well, honestly, I don’t crush on just anyone… But this lady, Jackie Wachter is oh so crush-worthy! Jackie and I were literally set up on a girlfriend date a few years ago. Our mutual friend Eric kept telling us about one another. We tried a few times to meet, but as life often goes with busy ladies, our plans kept getting postponed. Fast forward like 10 months and we finally met at The Plum (Jackie’s suggestion because she really is so cool) and our one hour lunch turned into an entire afternoon. And a beautiful, inspirational and truly supportive friendship was born.
You know that friend that always has their finger on the pulse of what is cool? Like not too cool for school, but humble cool? THAT IS JACKIE! Like when my hubby and I want to try somewhere new for date night, I call Jackie for suggestions – she’s THAT friend! So who better to tap for ideas about what she’s obsessed with, right? AND, the leather company, FOUNT, that she and her husband founded is a whole other level of awesomeness and one of my personal obsessions!

1. Fashion Revolution Week
We are having so much fun as a company getting ready for Fashion Revolution Week, which is coming up April 22-28. This movement is a giant social media sweep to raise awareness about ethical manufacturing, specifically in the clothing and accessory world. This is a topic close to my heart, so we are throwing a massive (200 ladies) clothing swap, doing a Lake Erie beach clean up with our team, and beginning to donate a percentage of all FOUNT sales to plant trees and do our part to aid in reforestation. 2. Vintage Fashion Cleveland
I personally love shopping for vintage treasures more than new items because the pieces are so unique. One of my favorite vintage shops is Vintage Fashion Cleveland in Lakewood, and it has the most incredibly curated collection of pieces that will keep your style looking fresh and beyond any trends.
3. With Simplicity MakeUp
This is an all-natural makeup and skincare line that actually holds up for the entire day. When I was pregnant with my first son I heard about how dangerous the chemicals in beauty products can be for developing babies, so I made the switch to all-natural. It was really hard to find a natural line that performed as well as my former Sephora brands, but once I found With Simplicity I never went back, and I still use 100% With Simplicity and swear by it!
4. Everlane
Everlane is an amazing brand for chic staple wardrobe pieces. I love their jeans, boots, and even their underwear! They celebrate brand transparency.
